The final drive of the excavator is quite a person's leg, the human leg is not smashed, and the excavator's final drive is broken.
The final drive of the excavator is composed of a carrier roller, a roller, a driving wheel and a rail link. When the running time reaches a certain time, these components will wear to a certain extent. However, if daily maintenance is maintained, it will be possible to avoid the "big surgery of the excavator's legs" in the future by taking a little time for proper maintenance. It saves you considerable maintenance money and can also avoid delays caused by repairs.
First point: If you repeatedly walk on the inclined ground and suddenly turn for a long time, the side of the rail link will be in contact with the sides of the drive wheel and the guide wheel, thereby increasing the degree of wear. Therefore, walking and sudden steering in inclined areas should be avoided as much as possible. Straight line travel and large turns can effectively prevent wear.
Second point: If some of the carrier rollers and the roller are not working, the roller may be worn and the rail links may be worn. If you find a roller that cannot be operated, you must repair it immediately! In this way, other failures can be avoided.
The third point: the support wheel, the carrier wheel mounting bolts, the track shoe bolts, the drive wheel mounting bolts, the walking pipe bolts, etc., because the machine is easy to loosen due to vibration after a long time of work. For example, if the machine continues to run with the track shoe bolts loose, it can even cause a gap between the track shoes and the bolts, which can cause cracks in the track shoes. Moreover, the creation of clearances may also increase the bolt holes between the track and the rail links, resulting in inability to tighten and the need to replace the track and rail links. Therefore, bolts and nuts should be inspected regularly and tightened to reduce unnecessary maintenance costs.
Frequent maintenance of the excavator's final drive will prevent you from unnecessary maintenance expenses and save you valuable repair time. If you want to know more about the "Excavator Walking Parts Maintenance", please visit other pages or contact us.
