Dry weather, how to prevent fire

1. Excavators should avoid contact with electric wires during transportation, walking and excavation. Otherwise, serious accidents may result.

2. The excavator electrical spare parts and wiring should be inspected frequently. When it is found that it is damaged, damaged or aged, it must be replaced in time to prevent the electrical circuit from being short-circuited and causing a fire.

3. To keep the wire connector clean and securely fastened, check the wire for looseness or damage every day. Tighten the loose connector or the wire is tight, rest or damaged wire.

3. Do not place flammable materials inside the excavator to prevent fire.

4. When refueling, the engine must be stopped. When it is away from the fire source, it is necessary to refuel and not leave the machine.

5. Do not allow fuel to spill onto overheated surfaces or parts of electrical systems when refueling.

6. After adding the oil, wipe off the spilled fuel or oil and tighten the fuel and the fuel tank cap.

7. Remove leaves, chips, paper and other flammable materials that accumulate or stick to the engine, exhaust pipe, muffler and engine compartment in a timely manner.

8. Do not place oil-impregnated rags inside the machine to avoid self-initiating fire and burning.

9. The user should configure the fire extinguisher in the machine and put it in a place where it can be taken.

10. When welding the machine, it is strictly forbidden to isolate the hydraulic oil line and fuel line.

11. To prevent fires caused by hydraulic lines, check the clamps of all hoses and pipes, whether the guards and cushions are firmly fixed in place, and if they are loose, they will vibrate during operation and rub against other parts. The hose is damaged and the high pressure oil is sprayed, causing fire damage or serious injury.

12. Keep the battery away from fire and avoid high temperatures, otherwise it will cause an explosion.

13. Excavators with sealed cabs should check the tightness of the intermediate partitions to prevent engine exhaust from entering the cab and causing driver poisoning.

14. It is strictly forbidden to work in poorly ventilated areas to prevent the driver from suffocating.

15. In the event of a fire, do not use water to extinguish it. Use a powder fire extinguisher or sand to extinguish the fire. Use a cover or tarpaulin to extinguish the fire.

How to use diesel is very important

The winter construction excavator spare parts should be equipped with a bottle of starter fluid. The fuel can also be selected according to the temperature. At present, most of the excavators use diesel engines. We also collects some information for your reference.

The basis for dividing the diesel fuel mark is the freezing point of diesel fuel. At present, the domestic application of light diesel oil is divided into 7 numbers according to the freezing point:

10# Diesel: suitable for high speed diesel engines with preheating equipment

5# Diesel: suitable for use when the temperature is above 8 °C

0# Diesel: Suitable for use at temperatures from 8°C to 4°C

-10# Diesel: Suitable for use at temperatures from 4 ° C to -5 ° C

-20# Diesel: Suitable for use at temperatures from -5 ° C to -14 ° C

-35# Diesel: Suitable for use at temperatures from -14 ° C to -29 ° C

-50# Diesel: Suitable for use at temperatures below -29 ° C to -44 ° C or below

It is recommended that you pay more attention to the weather forecast and choose different fuel grades according to the appropriate temperature.

What if the excavator can't start?

There are many reasons why winter excavators can't be started. There are several common problems in troubleshooting machine failures:

1. The battery is depleted 2. The number of revolutions is not high 3. The cooling water is frozen

We deal with these problems one by one. Let's start with the principle of the battery. A simple understanding is that the sulfate ions and water molecules in the battery collide to generate electricity. The winter temperature is low, the gap between the sulfate ion and the water molecule is large, and the moving speed is also slow, which shows that the battery is insufficient. Then winter is also very important for the maintenance of the battery. Sometimes it can be found that even if the main power switch is turned off before leaving work, the battery capacity is still insufficient the next day. The safest method is to remove the battery after work and store it in a cool place. Dry place. So I removed the battery and put it in the cab every day before work, but everyone knows that this is not safe, so it is not recommended.

If the speed is not high, the main reason is that there is no preheating.

The usual preheating is divided into air preheating and combustion chamber glow plug heating preheating. The ordinary engine is air preheating. We can find that the old excavators have no preheating function, and often need to spray the starting fluid. To help warm up, but now many new machines have this feature, usually in the cab start switch. Before the excavator starts, it is generally warmed up for 5-10 minutes before starting the excavator.

It is better to solve the problem that the cooling water is frozen. This can be avoided by draining the water before it is frozen. In the winter we are used to adding antifreeze to the excavator, but it should be noted that it should not be mixed with water, otherwise the effect will be buckled. In some places in the south, the temperature is not low, and the rain and snow days are so few days. Then, before the rain and snow come, only the cooling water needs to be discharged, but it should be noted that the engine is running at idle speed before the flameout, and the temperature of the cooling water is lowered. Below 60 ° C, the water is not hot, then put out the fire and put water, use a bucket to put the discharged water in the cab, the next day is also possible. Of course, if there are conditions, it is also a way to add proper hot water, but do not use hot water to pour it in other parts.

Wrong method

A while in Shandong, the cold-burning fuel tank accidentally ignited the excavator accident, telling us that something can't be done, then the next small series will talk about the wrong way.

1. Start with an open flame

Some people take the air filter off, use the cotton yarn to ignite the diesel oil, and then make the ignition material into the air intake pipe to start the combustion start, even using the "fire grilling tank", "smoke engine" and so on, so it seems possible, But in fact, it hurts the engine and burns the machine.

2. Release the water too early or do not put cooling water

At this time, if the treatment is improper, there may be a phenomenon in which the engine body is cracked or shrunk.

3. Casually choose fuel

The low temperature in winter makes the fluidity of diesel oil worse, the viscosity increases, and it is not easy to spray, resulting in poor atomization. Therefore, the model of diesel should be selected according to the lowest temperature of 7-10 °C below the local current season.

1. Excavator should run at least low idle for 5 minutes before use to warm up the engine. Engage and disengage the joystick controller to accelerate the warm-up of the hydraulic components. When preheating the excavator at idle speed, please observe the following recommendations:

A. When the temperature is higher than 0 °C, the engine is warmed up for about 15 minutes.

B. When the temperature is lower than 0 °C, the engine is warmed up for about 30 minutes.

C. When the temperature is lower than -18 °C or the hydraulic function is delayed, a longer warm-up time may be required.

2. To preheat the hydraulic spare parts, turn the engine speed knob to medium engine speed. Allow the engine to run for approximately 5 minutes without moving the joystick.

3. Turn the engine speed knob to the engine maximum speed and repeat step 2.

4. Cycle all the joysticks to allow hot hydraulic oil to flow into the various hydraulic and hydraulic circuits.

5. Pay attention to the watch and indicator at any time during operation. Note: Keep the engine running at low speed before the engine oil pressure indicator is off. If the indicator does not go out within 10 seconds, stop the engine and find out the cause before starting again. Failure to troubleshoot the engine can result in damage.
